I saw a strange description of their sound somewhere on the web. It said that Lefay sounded like a mix between Dream Theater and old Metallica.
I think it's a rather bad description. What do you think?

I really don't like to label bands, Lefay, that's very hard to label, the style is just unique! Purple Doomy Power Metal...

I call them dark metal. If you're into mid-tempo power metal with thrash rhythms and like bands such as Nevermore, Iced Earth, Mezarkabul... you might like Lefay as well.

I really hate when people call them power metal... Call them everything, but not power metal... Myself,I call them like Dark, heavy heavy metal with a great horse singer

Sleepwalker: You're absolutely right. A friend of mine said that they were a powermetal band, just because they had released their first album after 1990. And he hadn't even heard them.
Thats really annoying.
