So? It's just the price?
Which one sounds better?
They have large fucking frets or small?
They smell good?

(I'm asking you guys 'cause in this buthole where I live there's no ESP available. HATE THE SAMICK/IBANEZ/TAGIMA/YAMAHA!).

The difference between ESP's 100s and 200s is mainly the type of wood used to make the body and neck and whatnot, and sometimes the electronics. I own an ESP fretless B-104, and a F-205... the B-104 has what looks to be a maple neck, one piece, while the F-205 has a nice 5 piece neck, with 2 walnut stripes. The electronics on the B-104 are the LTD Soapbars, not bad, but since they're passive with not-so-good wood, they don't sound as good as the EMG actives on my F-205.

As for the frets, the frets on my F-205 are pretty average, maybe a bit on the large side. The same should apply to the 104, since its also 35" neck and whatnot.

So I'd assume the 204/5 sound better than the 104; that is, of course, if you like the sound of active pickups.

And they smell like candy.
