I really wanna start boosting my knowlage of theory, from baroque to modern, and I was wondering what some of the better books are. the only one I have is called Tonal Harmony, and I hear its sub par.
Stupid question but, There must be text books at berklee right ?
So why not look there? Im starting up at MI in hollywood this fall, and i know they have alot of good theory books.(then again , anything is good to me, kuz i know jackshit =-P \m/ ) Check out my NP =D, anyway good luck

Thats the problem, the book Berklee uses for classical theory *is* Tonal Harmony. I mean, its not horrible, but its supposed to be written more complicated than it should be and has a fair share of typos, plus inadequate examples.
