What's the temperature where you live?

I grew up in a small town in the midwest (population of almost 100,000), and then my teen years were in Pacific Grove (high school of ~400 students) so I never quite took to big city living.

If 100,000 is a small town, I must live in a desert village. We have 50,000 here.

Well, 1/3 of those are students who are really only there part of the year. Compare that to the ~750,000 residents of S.F. (the 2nd highest population density city in the US). Sunnyvale only has like 150,000 people, but you really have to take the Bay Area as a whole as all these cities bleed together. Basically San Jose up the peninsula to SF, across the bay to Oakland, and back down the east bay is one uninterrupted urban sprawl of 7 million or so people.

I've heard that number used. Too many people. I'd have to live some miles outside the major cities because I like the QUIET.
