I'll start with the usual bullshit pre-embo if I may, ahhem...

Symphony X fans are an unusual breed, creative, intelligent artistic but in general just a bunch of sorry assed little punks, pah. Had you goin there, seriously I'm trying to establish some sort of link between astrology and the sort of music you might like. I understand some will think astrology is bullshit, I did too but when you find the right sort of astrology and not the bullshit mainstream kind you find out a lot about yourself, deep man I'm fuckin drowning. Nahh It's just for fun.

Most of you will know the signs are divided into elements here's just a very basic overview and I'll wager than you have at least one quality of the following :

Earth(Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo) - Practical, security, analytical, reserved, level-headed, cool under pressure, realistic, pessimistic, hard working.

Fire -(Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) - Wilful, extrovert, explosive, adventuress, risk taking, show off, leaders, generous, confrontational, aggressive.

Air - (Aquarius, Gemini, Libra) - Intelligent, Communicative, witty, social, balanced, visionary, individual, lively,, confident, superficial, double dealing.

Water (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio) - Emotional, creative, imaginative, dreamers, shy, intense, artistic, caring, service to others, sensitive.

I myself am Cancer and I'm all the above which makes me an emotional, impractical dreamer with a creativity in music but I'm sensitive and easily hurt by vicious comments so go easy on me. Incidentally I share the same birthday as Russell Allen who is also July 19th I believe and two days before Rullo. Also Michael Romeo as a Pisces gives Symphony X a very water like profile, with a very emotional/creative expression through their music. Take this in comparison to a band like Children of Bodom who are an aggressive/explosively creative band and surprise, surprise the main man Alexi Laiho is a fire sign Aries, the pieces do fit.

So, what's your astrological sign?

Taurus - I do fit some of the descriptions. I'm practical, analytical, level-headed, realistic and hard working. I don't believe in this kind of stuff, though; i'm not superstitious.

Libra

I guess the description is mostly correct about me except the intelligent part, although I guess I am intelligent when laziness isn't a factor in my mix lol.

I'm libra as well, and it describes me with the exception of communicative, social, witty, and confident, as I am the complete opposite of those. I'm actually kinda into the astrology and stuff like that. I have tarot cards that I used to play around with a lot. I actually tried a spell once, but I'm not a very good witch ;)

I'm pisces, and I'll break it down:
Emotional - No, not at all, I'm icy cold when I don't want to talk.
creative - Programmer and a guitarist, do both pretty well, so I guess yes.
imaginative - That's me.
dreamers - Hopeless romantic here.
shy - Mmmmm... Yea, I guess
intense - No, I don't panic ever since 8, I always do my best.
artistic - Mhm.
caring - Depends who for.
service to others - Who? Me? Only my friends are ones I really care for. I despise alot of people, mostly for their stupidity.
sensitive - Middle of the road... Kinda sensitive, but not like some people I know.

And I say 'fuck you' too easily.:D

BTW I think all this astrology stuff is bullcrap - I have about half of the features of each sign.:)

The descriptions I gave tried to fit across the whole board of signs, for instance in water signs intense is a prominent feature of Scorpio and with the air signs emotional balance and calm are Libra traits whilst the communication is a well known Gemini trait. Honesy is the real key here and I doubt everybody will display that when looking at themselves.

You may well have traits across the board in which case we should bow down to your greatness, but I stick by the fact that the PRIMARY traits of your character can usually be linked to your sun sign.

Aquarius here.. wouldnt really agree with that description (though the description fits 3 signs so take ur pick as to what description fits what sign).

Characteristics of myself as an Aquarian and other Aquarians I've known is, definately unconventional, freedom loving to the point of doing the bolt as soon as someone gets too close, head is always up in the clouds and you have to keep one foot on the ground to keep in touch with reality, usually very creative and artistic. Every Aquarian I've known has been brilliant at something to do with art, except me I think my creativity sort of sits dormant, it can come out when needs to but needs motivation behind it.

As for superficiality.. in my experience that has differed between right hand and left hand aquarians (left handed people use the right side of the brain more which is ur unconventional creative side, right handed people use the left side of the brain more which is your stable business side)..

I'm left handed so i dont think on a superficial level very often, its unnatural for me, i like deep and meaningful stuff (especially music), things like money and status dont mean anything to me, art is for art, not for money.

Right handed aquarians on the other hand like to use creativity for money making purposes, they generally can be a little more superficial liking the creature comforts in life.

other characteristics: actually pretty anti social, intelligent and witty yes I like to think so.

One of my best friends is an Aquarius, and he's a right character known well about town, always looking to the future to stupid extremes but he is totally impractical, typical air head but stands out from the crowd with his eccentric behaviour. Aquarius is an important sign because it's now the age of Aquarius.

I'm glad somebody bought up the rising sign which is just as important if not more so and usually fills in the blanks of the personality if you don't relate to your birth sign only problem is it's harder to work out.

I'm the left-handed Pisces. I don't know much about astrology, but I have a lot of friends who the first thing they ask you when they meet you is "what's your sign?" I can really appreciate the stuff though. Well, Pisces describes me well, except for shy. I am quite outgoing, and cuuuraaaaaaaaazy for that matter. The Pisces stone is also really cool looking too. I think it's aquamarine, but I'm not at all sure.
