whats your favourite rehearsal position?

Greetings, i'm in the process of building a rehearsal room and live recording room.

I would like to know in what "formation" you prefer to play when you are rehearsing?

just like in a concert? with monitor sistem for everyone to listen everything?

All looking at each other (like in a circle)?

Please i need to know this in order to place the equipment and treating the room.

I prefer looking at each other, all we need to run through the PA is just Vox, Samples, and Triggered Kick, with everyone still being able to hear each other.

Every band I have been in setup our rehearsal spaces like we played live, with the equip set up the same way

we kinda stand or sit in a circle so we can see each other and discuss the songs and writing. Every now and then if we are rehearsing for a bigger live show with "cues", we practice as if we were playing live.

Everyone in a circle looking inwards. I've never tried rehearsing in stage formation... mainly because we've never had a space big enough.

Every band I've been in has always rehearsed in a triangle, or just everyone facing the drummer. No PA usually. We don't play live that way though.
