Kelly Clarkson? She won the very first Idol. I really like her song 'Since You Been Gone'. She's got a great voice.

I ignored the songs I heard off of Clarkson's first album, but am thinking about breaking down and getting the new one. I think she is top of the line pop - besides - it's good to hear pop music that traces it's lineage to guitar-based rock and not some crappy watered down hip hop/R&B.

Plus she's damn cute.
