If Ghoul are still around, they rock pretty hard. Tongue-in-cheek gore-obsessed trashy thrash metal. The County Medical Examiners are pretty good as well, if you've got nothing against bands re-hashing Symphonies Of Sickness.

Ghoul. By far. I'm pretty into the Razorback Records catalogue (but then, as the resident Carcass-head, that isn't surprising.)

Btw, County Medical Examiners are much closer in sound to Reek than Symphonies- not a bad band, by any means, but not amazing either.

Ghoul combine the Impaled-esque production values and song writing with authentic 80's style thrash rifferage. We like. The slight nod goes to Maniaxe as the better of their two albums, though the third is due, like, soon.
