i honestly havetn heard Enslaved, but i really like my dying bride, naturally i would recommend my dying bride...but i will go and check out enslaved now.

I fancy Enslaved myself. How heavy are they (in terms of guitar sound). Are they death metal heavy? Or more like CoF keyboards and screeching nonsense?

I've only heard Below the Lights, to be honest (but will definetely go through their whole catalogue). It's neither death metal heavy nor Cradle of Faggotry nonsense....it's just very unique, to tell you the truth it's unlike any other Black Metal band (if they can even be called that) I've heard so far. Get both albums...the Enslaved may prove to be a difficult initial listen, but there is so much detail on this album it requires multiple listenings...
