I have to throw in a vote for Paris Hilton as well - she's the epitome of unearned silver-spooned snobbery that can't relate to the real world in any way, shape or form yet leeches off of it and acts like the entire world should cater to her. Couldn't think of a more fitting person to spend some hard jail time, maybe 45 days will do some good, but I doubt it's enough.

I fucking HATE Carlos Mencia more than anyone in the universe. Not only has he been called out multiple times for stealing people's material (he is hated in the comedy underground), but if you didnt know, he isn't mexican, Carlos Menica isn't his real name, and his accent is fake. His whole fucking routine is about being mexican and making fun of while people. Guess what? He's half german... fuck this guy, absolutely one of the shittiest people that has walked on this earth. Die and go to hell you son of a bitch.

Have you actually seen any of his older stand-up?

I have one of his older 'comedy central presents' on my computer and it is pretty funny. Furthermore, he didn't use any of the material that he was called out on. If it is stolen, I'm not aware of it.

Moreover, I don't recall once that he said that he IS Mexican. He's stated EXPLICITLY that he is Hondurian (he's half Hondurian, half German and was born in Honduras). He may have recently, but I'm not a fan of any of the stuff he's coming out with recently.

He certainly portrays himself as Mexican, whether or not he actually says it (which he might have, I don't know).I'm sure 99% of his audience is under the impression that he is Mexican.

Edit: Actually I'm pretty sure he does say that he's Mexican, referring to himself as a beaner and a wetback, etc.

Not sure where you're getting your information from. He's half Mexican and half Honduran. He's talked, on his show, about the fact that his father is Honduran. So, it's not as if his heritage is some deep, dark secret. He was raised in East L.A. He's the seventeenth of eighteen kids. Sounds like he understands the Mexican experience just fine.

I'm glad I dont know who this guy is. I loathe comedians who stereotype their own ethnic background and make jokes about it. Black and hispanic comics seem to do this exclusively, as thought they're not allowed to do any jokes that don't revolve around racial issues. It's not funny.

Maybe he's just saying that to make his comedy act sound more valid. After all, he is the one saying it. I wouldn't put it beyond someone who steals other people's comedy acts. You have to consider these things in your source criticism dear General Zod.
