Which Down album do you like best?

While I'm not big on this depressing bastardized version of southern influenced sludge rock, I would have to say that NOLA is the better of the two records. It has a certain feel throughout the entire record. The vibe is there from start to finish.
uke: II is obvioulsy drug influenced from start to finish, it's straight up sloppy...

Both albums I like but I prefer the first one Nola over II. It's just good old southern metal and sounds more like Corrossion of Conformity and Crowbar than really Pantera.

By the way, I like Corrosion of Conformity's Deliverance album.

Nola, by far.


The second one has that sequel curse attached to it. II is just a mish-mashed, jarbled collection of boring ideas. Nola has awesome songs with great rhythms start to finish.

II was a good advantage to getting a burned copy first before buying!! Just crap to me.

You're all right. But I still like II better, I still listen to Nola a lot cause it rules, but I love the second one better. I'm glad to hear all the opinnions from everyone, weather you like it or not you guys give good points with your opinnions. later-RJAIII-
