Mitso. it wasn't a greek figure. a dead kitten now resting in the forest. we tried to save him/her; found it on the street, with the right eye plucked out (my beloved humans, no I'm not a misanthrope 
...) and instead of having spent the night at our place and get euthanasied (sp?) or saved by our vet the next day, it was dying in terrible pain. Nick and I have never seen such suffering before so we're both shocked, and indeed out of mind. I won't forget that dying. .... it wanted to curl up on my lap, thinking that I was mom/protector, begging for help crying, looking at me with that one eye, scratching the pillow under him/her. until the back legs got paralysed and the eye finally closed..... and the cry of pain stopped. not nice dying of hunger. my beloved human beasts....
am I overdoing it?
