Ok, so I've been listening to the new one some more.. and I have to say, on the right stereo, EQ'd properly.... this cd is kinda growin on me!

There are some very cool moments. Straight To Hell; Parasychic, Paranoid; Bleed; ChildHood Hero... all good stuff.

I just listened to it today for the first time... I'm impressed!!!
and not nearly what I expected, considering all the negative reviews I've seen.

I can understand that the production could be a big turn off, but once you get past that, the album really shines!

i finally listened to it all the way through last night. i like it a lot. has a sad mournful feel to it, but not faggy. childhood hero owns <3

That was a pretty damn good review. It does take a few listens, as a longtime FAN/STAN, I was like WTF when i first heard it. But it has grown. I recommend listening on a surround system.

I have read elsewhere that it was a concept album, but without lyrics in the booklet (bastards!!) I hadn't made the connection. I will now have to listen yet again!

I don't recall a "public feud" though when AK left, I just remember he wanted to be with hiskids and play country music.

Thanks PJ. I seem to remember some back and forth between band members. I've heard relationships still aren't too good. At any rate, after one listen this would have gotten a pretty low score. Glad I had it review and gave it the time it needed. Now, the new Nuclear Assault looks to be another story...
