Think German melodic metal with glam/80s attitude

Their early stuff with Helloween's Andi Deris on vocals is like early Van Halen glam metal mixed with Euro melodic speed metal....

And their more recent stuff is more like a Vanishing Point style of melodic metal, but with more glam and power influences than VP, more "flair" is spose

Anyway... albums to get.... Self Titled (1989, their first) and Sonic Dynamite (2000, thei latest, but a new one is out next week).

I only really know them because of Andi Deris, other than that I'm pretty clueless One of those bands I've been meaning to check out for years but for one reason or another haven't done so.

Heh, I just downloaded some MP3s. Not exactly what I imagined they would be like I was expecting one of those semi-comic bands that take the piss with thrashy, growly vocals like Gwar and the like.
