I don't think its true drummers are thick. I often find they are very fidgety tho and never stand still - they're always going sumthing.

I think there's some truth to that, but I don't think it applies to me. Most drummers I've met have been really musically stupid, they don't think in terms of structure and style and mood, they think in terms of doing lame repetitive beats and that's just pathetic. Most drummers aren't artists or musicians, but I think I am both! Therefore, while I agree that most drummers are stupid, I feel I'm not exactly at the tip of that bell curve. I think it depends on what kinda music you play too, rock drumming is so boring, some metal is pretty cool (opeth is outstanding). Fusion/reggae/prog (any prog) players are usually brilliant.
