WHO - STFU!

I think I may have this shit, or normal flu even though I had a flu shot. My desk at work was occupied by this other chick til last week. They moved her upstairs and I now have her desk, including her keyboard, phone, and all the desk accessories she used. She left early on Friday, sick I guess, then called out on Monday with the flu.

As I am typing this I'm having drizzly diarrhea. My body, especially my neck, feels like I've been run over by a train even though I've done nothing strenuous, and I keep having a fever off & on. Awesome! They sent out an email at work saying not to come if you feel ill. Screw that, it's only my second week back, I cannot call out sick :erk:

NO.
You have to stay home or you're gonna make other people sick. Just refer to that e-mail if someone asks. And how can you even contemplate working while having diarrhea anyway?

No offense :).

Cara, do you wipe your ass standing up when diarrhea knocks on your turdcircular aperture? I would reckon that the risk for post stool trickle would be high and the preferential position for clean up would leave you compromised.

Daniel, I can clearly understand her desire to go to work in such state, given her elder brother's propensity for two hour latherings. Beats running to the gas station.

Does american homes only have a single bathroom?

 that reminds me of a post by Dan Swano on his forum about how his old Unisound studio didn't have a bathroom so people had to run a cross the street to a gas station to take a shit while recording all those classic albums

Well, seeing as how the person who likely made me sick is back at work and still sick, and the others who were already sick at work are still sick at work, I don't see how my presence there makes much of a difference at this point. The girl that sits across from me coughs so much that I have to apologize when I'm on the phone with someone because they can't hear me over it.

And flu or not, I've always gone to work if I'd had diarrhea. Stress alone will do that to me.

Refer to the thread for the answer which you seek. I'm not explaining it again :)

Back on flu topic, I feel a great bit better now. Swine flu is respiratory right? So I'd be coughing and snotting if I had it...I've had none of those kinds of symptoms. Basically just muscle aches, diarrhea, and fever (but not consistently and not high)...could all be stress related. Now my muscle pain is isolated to my neck and shoulders and not all over my body like it was.

I was thinking whilst pooping a few minutes ago, that if I had missed work every time I had diarrhea, I would have been fired 5 times by now

I'm no 'House', but fever and muscle pains is pretty flu-ish. The diarrhea can be disregarded as I'm sure by your mood updates on myspace that much of your diet is restricted to fuck-tons of meat.

This is true, and a lot of meat from Jack in the Box as of late. But still, considering how much better I feel now, I don't think it's flu. If it were flu I think I'd be feeling worse by now, or at least as shitty.

What would one expect from someone who holds "Meat Parties"? :kickass:

Yes, meat parties in which I think more alcohol is consumed than meat, but still alotta damn meat. Carne Con '09 shall showcase many a pork dish in an effort to support the pork industry since it has apparently, and retardedly, taken such a hit from the swine flu panic.

Well I've done some extensive research on swine. They usually begin to feel blissful right before they're killed and eaten. Keep your eyes peeled for farmers with dollar $igns for pupils.

Just heard that a case of swine flu was confirmed in Fort Worth, therefore all Fort Worth schools will be closed until May 8th. WTF.
