Who thinks we need an unofficial UM IRC chat?

If you don't, I guess you can start denying that it exists.

I'm probably going to be inviting a few people to be channel operators after I see how the launch goes, so don't start begging yet.

My IRC name is MSD, I'm the one to look for if you have questions.

Make sure you register your nicknames ASAP to prevent name theft. the command to register the nickname you are using is "/msg nickserv register [password] [email address]" To change your nickname, use "/nick [nickname]" To kick someone who is using your nickname, type "/ghost [nickname] [passsword]"

If someone gets to your nickname before you do, send me a PM or email from the board and I'll see what I can do about it.

To get into an IRC chat, you can use a popular program like mIRC or Xchat, or search the internet for one of you own.
