Every time I listen to this song I have always wondered if an updated version would sound better. Just a thought

I agree. But I think that you really have to appreciate the raw and spontaneous vibe of the BMD songs simce they were written in the studio. I think an updated version would be awesome, sure, as Hypocrisy did it with the godly Apocalypse among others on their tenth year anniversary album. But, I think it would emotionally sterilize the quality of the original. Just my thoughts man

An updated version of a already complete song? That's about the most stupid thing I've ever heard in my entire life! It would no doubt sterilize the quality of the original which is just great as it is... Anyway that's just MY thoughts MAN

I say leave the old stuff alone, because it can never be topped by new versions, and concentrate on writing new stuff instead.

I think it doesn't need to be rerecorded, the fact that Jonas wasn't entirely comfortable with singing cleanly at that point adds to the feel of the song...
