Mmmmm, debatable. DHiaDW, EoR and TGE were all fine albums. They did suffer from a bit of a singular sound. Smyth was a good addition But I think he was too similar in style to Jeff.

Jeff needs someone to keep him from falling into bad habits, rather than indulge him, like Merrow does. But that won't happen.
