Still butthurt about the fact that mantic ritual actually drinks metallica semen?
seriously saying stuff like its just tech bullshit makes you sound retarded. Have you even heard the new Warbringer? or even the new kreator (or i'm embarassed to say the new Exodus) is better yet still more complicated than mantic ritual and they're old as fuck. face it, you may be old but that doesn't mean you magically know what is and isn't the be all end all of good riffing but i wouldn't be surprised because you tend to be high and mighty all the time. stop sucking the punk rock cock and listen to some real heavy and headbanging shit instead of some whiney kids playing metallica rip off riffs that have been done 10 billion times with more aggression than that. even the most techy new thrash releases tend to be about the heavyness of the riff instead of breakdown shred stuff like the new deathcore bands. Go dig a bit deeper and then realize how much that straight forward carbon copy shit sucks.
LOL @ you. "I've seen Kreator!!!!!"
We get Kreator tickets as spam mail here, dude. I've seen them four times in two years and that's just because I had to put up with them to see another band and didn't even go to any of their headlining shows, or else it would've been more like ten times in the past two years.
Lemme guess, Mille did the "IS THEAH SOMEONE FOLLOWING YOU?!?!?!?" a capella with the kickdrum, right, and then he had the crowd repeat it? Or what about the part where he goes, "WE'RE GONNA STAAAARRRT...A VIOLENT REVOLUTION!!!!!!" I dig that song, though. Or what about his little speech before he launches into, "BECAUSE WE'RE AAAALL OOOOF THEEE SAAAAME BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!" And you're STILL equating good thrash with complicated stuff. I'm not saying that more complex thrash isn't good; I'm just saying that I prefer the simpler kind.
Not butthurt about anything, don't know where you got that from. You see, you just kinda proved the guy's point. YOU'RE the one all high and mighty about who's "real" thrash and who isn't. My only point was that I like simple, riff heavy thrash that gets your head banging. Wasn't a slight against your or anyone else's tastes. Yet here you are, once again, slagging me for mine as if thrash is some new style of metal secret kept all to yourself that no one else knows about. Come talk to me when you aren't forced into all-ages shows.
Dude, I saw Destruction (for the 6th time) open up for Candlemass a couple of years ago shortly before Messiah left. That was a memorable show, just due to the polar opposite styles.
