It isn't a snow leopard only problem. When I was the work study for the school studio, I had to resolve all of these issues. Just updated the Structure software and all was fixed...but all of the computers were on leopard. Not sure if there is a Snow Leopard update.
I think it's safe for me to get a copy of Snow Leopard. You know what they say, why fix something that isn't broken, but at the very least it's good to have more space in my internal HD since the system files in SL take less space, and hopefully I'll have this thing running smoothier still. This thing is fast as fuck to boot and turn off, but it wouldn't hurt if it was even faster

I switched to snow leopard the day before the new Melodyne plugin was released. It was pretty good timing. All the known issues seemed to have been fixed and I've installed all the updated waves plugins etc
Logic 9 is running smoothly and it seems my computer shuts off and powers on faster. I'm pleased.
just finished tracking the first band since moving onto SL
im not convinced that there was many benefits, and part of me thinks it was actually less reliable as a lot of plugins seem a bit temperamental in SL atm.
Just bought Snow Leopard and will probably update tomorrow (or maybe today; how long is the process?). Anything I should know? Should all of the programs I use work right away after the update?
