Anyhow, I still think it's a win - win.
Do I think the father had the right to take justice in his own hands? Fuck no!
Do I think the kid should have received treatment? Yup.
But... Do I pity the outcome? Fuck no!
Do I think the father should get a milder sentence given the circumstances? Fuck no!

One thing I'd like to know though, which isn't made clear in the article: How was it discovered in the first place? Did he go to tell his mum on his own account or after he was caught/it's been discovered?

You know, what is weird is that I´m pro death penalty and "vigilante justice". I just don´t think this was the case.
Am I the only one who sees that the ,,filthy rapist,, was kid himself? Jesus Christ, just a fucking KID. Kids are fucking called kids because they have fucked up ideas now and then, some are more fucked up than others, those who actually bothered to read the whole thing know there was no evidence for actual vaginal rape, the 15yo propably had no big clue what the fuck he was doing anyway. What the father did to him was fucking sick, the kid understood he did wrong, begged for forgivenes and was humilated and shot like an animal afterwards. Yes, he was 15, but I sure as hell was self aware as a fifteen-year-old to know that rape and sexual assault is wrong. It's not like the kid was a deaf, dumb, and blind vegetable.
If he was mentally ill, that's one way of explaining it...but none of us will know for sure. If he wanted counseling then I think it's a good chance that he had some fucked up fantasies and whatnot.
Did he deserve to be shot in the head by his father, no.
Do I believe he was a totally innocent child, devoid of free will, and simply submitting to his impulses as a poor, defenseless, confused child? hellll no.

Yep sorry, I raged here abit after reading replies to the OP quickly, I'm glad I'm not the only one here seeing something's wrong here.
I'm not trying to justify what the kid did. What I'm saying is there's subtle diffrence between filthy disgusting dude in his 30s that would do that to satisfy his sexual needs and a stupid 15 yo who just had retarded idea, I know how stupid 15yo can be. We would have to make another holocaust if we were to deny every youngster with stupid ideas. Again there was NO evidence of vaginal rape.

I can see that subtle difference, but it's hard for me to SEE the difference because it was a THREE-year-old child. I'm sorry...that's just plain nasty. Makes me gag.
Vaginal rape or not, the kid sexually abused the child. Just because he might not have penetrated her doesn't make it any better.
Anyway, not that it matters. He's dead, father will spend his life in jail.

Of course, it's wrong as fuck and everyone is entitled to their opinion, we are not the ones to judge him anyway, no one is - he's dead. But being on the father side in this particular case... well what can I say, the guy who was able to do this was propably child abuser himself. I can only imagine him beating up his family on a regular basis. Remember, it's scum like him that is making innocent into one of his kind. What the guy did is the ultimate disgust that could ever happen, if the judgements were to me I'd make him bathe in acid for what he did...
