Why are women so fucking cruel and evil?

That song is boss and better than anything from Judas Priest. Fuck that band, I'm not in to pickle sniffers trying to come off as macho macho men. There's nothing metal about homosexuality fellas.

Some day I'll buy a Judas Priest album and give it an honest try.

I am listening to Sinner right now and quite nearly enjoying it.

Now go check out Dreamer Deceiver, Tyrant, Run of the Mill for some excellent '74-'76 hard rock/heavy metal.

Okay I've been listening to Sin After Sin and all the rockin' stuff is quite rockin' indeed. A few real duds but whatever, I guess it fits that they had some gay stuff back in the day.

This would have gone very well with my three beers last night. Instead I had Deceased, Agalloch, and Edge of Sanity. NO REGRETS!

Hmm. In 2013 I've finally discovered that I like Iron Maiden, Queensrÿche, and now Judas Priest. Always hated this shit as a kid. I must really miss having a leather jacket that fits.

This is the first time I've heard Dissident Aggressor after years of enjoying the Slayer cover version.

This is so fucking :kickass: that it transcends shame for shunning and goes straight to :kickass: for "new" discoveries.

I'll bet Rob Halford has never had woman problems.

I was a judas priest fanboy for years but honestly, don't buy the whole forum thing of the 70s stuff being stellar the 80s stuff being gay. It's more like this: the 70s stuff is decent but generally has bad or oddball 70s production that just isn't very heavy or metallic and also, they were kind of wearing their influence on their sleeve at that point, with say, one queen like song, one prog rock song that sounds the exact same as the style of a famous prog album stylistically, then bits of heaviness. In the 80s, the albums had almost half filler, but they had a much more worthwhile sound and style. If the USPM bands had had rob haldford and his production budget in the 80s, a lot of those metal albums would be amazing.

i dont think anyone said the 80s stuff is gay

i will say that while the 70s stuff was elaborate and mostly pretty intelligent, the 80s stuff was inconsistent, simplified, excruciatingly cheesy and really dumbed down for the meathead audience

there's almost nothing i personally enjoy after unleashed in the east. killing machine wasnt so hot either, it was the beginning of the end

80s judas priest is what people are laughing at when they think heavy metal is funny

Killing Machine might be lyrically simplified, but tbh, Idk, I get sick of rob kind of wailing and of Last Rose of Summer type bollocks, combined with an overly clean guitar sound and weird jittery production that's too 70s. No. Gets sick of all that.

I like how this thread made me finally love Judas Priest. Woman problems, aye? Rob Halford can help with that.
