dont think frank did leave, as far as i knew, he was kicked out...........again very little said at the time, but i remember summink charlie said about differences...... think he joined helmet for summin to do............until size matters bombed that is........

Size Matters is a kick ass album!!!!! I am not real sure why everyone hates the album so much I think it is much better then Aftertaste. I am not sure why Frank was kicked out either but Milano keeps claiming he is going to post an interview with him and Frank explains why. Billy said that some months ago, I am not sure if his site will ever be back up at this point.

i think in the grand scheme of labelling

helmet get clummsily bundled into the "grunge" catagorey, just cos of the scene they grew out of.......

but yeah most defo 100% nothing like anthrax, if you only listen to thrash, you'd hate it

Milano said that Frankie kick Charlie's ass and Charlie kick im out of the band.

Anthrax is far better than Helmet, album and live, Helmet is a descent band, but not in the same league, but i though Page was a better singer than Joey!

I remember reading that Frankie left because he "didn't like the direction the band was taking". At this point, a whole lot of people don't like the direction the band is taking. I think he left because of this reuinion idea, but now has somehow been persuaded to come back.

Helmet is a stange band, not bad, but not good, no comparision to Anthrax at all, helmet is not metal, is rock or something.

Helmet & Anthrax are 2 of my favorite bands. I've always classified bands like Helmet & Unsane as Noise & find with most bands like them you have to listen to it a few times & listen damn loud before you get it.
