Why do people think hatebreeder is best???

a whole fucken hatebreeder thread and nobody mentioned towards dead end. What kinda world are we living in. Hatebreeder is awesome but as far as best from one song to the next, i go with pallarandersvisa and go with something wild

We are living in a world where I exist...... and my manslut Wanko..... things will only get worse as long as him and me dominate the world with out faggotorness

it is not the best, follow the reaper tops it and i think somewthing wild sux having the worst songs of bodom (in the shadows, the nail and touch like...)

Hatebreeder contains 9 tracks, all perfects & complementary which means that no track looks like another one and all kick ass ! By comparison with Something Wild, it shows a progress : in the production (more clean), the composition, the performance. The vocals are better mastered too.
Moreover, the songs from this album are energetics, they enter & stay in your mind very quickly if you see what I mean ! It’s a great mix from various influences : from black metal to classical composers…which I like a lot !
I see that some of you prefer Follow the Reaper. Don’t misunterstand me, I like A LOT Follow the Reaper but it looks for me like a Hatebreeder 2 sometimes which sounds yeah more heavy metal than Hatebreeder.
So Hatebreeder stays my favorite for the ideas, energy, technical & the various influences. For me it's the most representative from COB but all of this is just a matter of taste i guess...
I hope it's clear, sorry for my english :loco:

As for answers like: follow the reaper has the best guitar parts, well, the hardest parts to play indeed compared to something wild&hatebreeder. As for me hatebreeder was the first album I listened from them, though I purchased something wild at the same time, but downfall was the first cob song i saw/heard so I tried hatebreeder first. Anyway hatebreeder just has great melodies and the vocals rock too.

For me, it's the classical influence. Something Wild has this too. Yet in my opinion the writing on hatebreeder is in totally different league of its own.

I think Hatebreeder is what made the Hate Crew legends in the metal scene, because no one had really heard the fussion of classical and death/black metal before. All the songs are expertly composed with nothing not belonging. The vocals have a certain passion that in my opinion no other Bodom album has. Its just perfect to me. Greatest metal album of all time. Maybe ever THE greatest of all time. I think every Bodom album is exellent but I highly doubt they will ever be able to match Hatebreeder on any work they do in the future.

Bingo.

FTR isn't as good because it's just slower, and I like the production on Hatebreeder more.

HCDR is awesome too though.

Best instrumental work... or at least best solos, best arrangements, best quality, jaska doing some very cool stuff, best lyrics, best artwork... everything  In my opinion all the songs are good... but downfall is perhaps their best song ever and after it comes silent night and cob  just fucking awesome work.
