Since I got The Knowing recently I can compare them and I would say that I like To Welcome The Fade more. So I think you should buy it if you liked The Knowing.

The only way I can describe it is, I think 'To Welcome the Fade' is a step forward in progression from 'The Knowing'. It's a bit heavier at times, a bit doomier at times, and the production is much, much better. I don't think you will be disappointed.
