Well, I bought DfH2 some months ago, including NI Kompakt Sampler. But I m not very pleased with it. I like the samples, but the sampler is not that flexible as I´d prefer. Especially toms and overhats are very intricate to use.
So who of you guys that owns DfH could recommand me a better sampler then the Kompakt???
Should I invest in Battery or better in Kontakt?
Notice that the samples of DfH2 are in .nki format.

I will have DFH Superior soon, and I'll post my results with it. I currently own Battery and BFD. So far I like Battery because I can use my own samples, however, I really like al lot of the DFH Superior stuff, and its approach to mixing in mic bleed.

I've been mapping my own kits using the older DFH samples with the Emagic EXS24. However, I think Kazrog is on the right track with Superior, because it's completely self contained, that might be the best way to go.

Gotta say Battery as well; I really don't like most samplers' layouts, but since Battery is geared specifically for drums, it's extremely intuitive. The Mod Router makes for great realism (modding pitch and volume with velocity to make a single snare sample sound more dynamic takes about two mouseclicks) or bizzare effects (harder hits bitcrush, softer hits detune with LFO... madness!!!), and the zone mapping is so frigging easy to set up. It's just all-around pretty super.
