It sounds like they've considerably cut back on those TERRIBLE hardcore vocals, but they still sound like a boy band that had all the most expensive producers write all their stuff for them. In other words, they show no signs of life, as far as I'm concerned.

I actually enjoyed trivium's Ascendancy. I don't really mind hardcore. However, the fact that dub themselve the Saviors of Metal pisses me off. The same thing was said about Pantera. But here is my question: Did it ever really die?
