Windows 7 - Disabling AV/Network on one account?

Hi.

So in the past on my XP systems I've always used two separate OS on different partitions.

This time round I've gone for just one OS and made a "General" and a "DAW" account on Windows 7 Home Premium.

Can anyone please tell me how (or I guess if it's even possible) to disable the network card and AV without it affecting the other account(s)?

Thanks.

For networking you should be able to cobble something like that together with the Group Policy Editor, but for simplicity I'd just have a startup script that set the default route to nothing.

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do with the AV side.

Thanks for the reply man.

I was hoping it'd be something nice and simple!

I want to disable the Wireless network card and the Anti Virus just on the DAW account so it's not eating up resources.

I'm thinking since it's a fresh build, since it doesn't seem a case of just being able to disable/enable settings on each user setting that I may aswell start again and create 2 partitions with 2 OS :(
