I'm sure somebody has asked this already, but I don't want to sift through 30 pages of threads. I can't find Woods I-III on CD anywhere. Literally. Does anyone know how I can obtain them in this format (if it's at all possible)?

Go to local music stores that sell used CD's and hope you get lucky, or try ebay or other auction site and probably pay quite a bit for them.

I wouldn't be surprised if Earache does re-release them. If they don't, that just sucks for everyone. I'm sure glad I bought the all the albums when they were available though...

I think it would be in Earache's best interest to reissue those CDs because I know people would want to buy them. I saw a CD of Against the Seasons going for $71 on eBay since like 15+ people are bidding on it.

I have this one as well as one of the original CDR pressings that used to belong to Adrian Bromley - which I scored for a measly $10 as part of his estate sale. I could probably get at least $100 for it now, although I would never sell unless someone offered me a ridiculous sum. David once said of it that it was definitely one of the first 50 and maybe even one of the first 10 made.

Towards the end there's a paragraph stating:
"For the early albums Woods 1,2 3, there were vague plans in place for Earache to issue them on CD and vinyl during the rest of 2012, which we will certainly do to honour David Gold's legacy and make his body of work complete for fans to enjoy."
So it looks like it's going to happen...but when?! Hopefully next year.

I contacted them any way I could, email, Facebook messages, etc. I think if we all do this they'll get the hint of how badly us Woods fans want the CDs reissued.
That is the best news I've read all day. Thanks for the info man! I just hope they also issue the Falling Apart/You Were The Light vinyl as well. Those are amazing songs so I'd love to have a copy of the LP. However I wouldn't complain if they were just put on one of the CD reissues as bonus tracks.

Hrm, well, I don't know how helpful this is but I've seen them at HMV (Montreal) before. Definitely not common though.

Ah if only I lived in Montreal or Canada in general. I want those CDs so bad. Woods of Ypres is one of those bands that are so good I just feel compelled to own every single piece of music that they've recorded.
Earache re-releasing the catalog would be amazing because nobody will answer emails sent to the davidypresgold@gmail.com about buying the cds.

Ok so HMV cannot get any Woods besides the Woods 5 album. But they can get it in CD and Vinyl.
But I did find where to buy some Woods online, as I have just received my new copy of Woods 4, released by EARACHE. I paid $11.50 with shipping. :Smokedev:

Good news everyone! Looks like Earache might be reissuing Woods III later this year! Forgot where I saw this post but someone contacted Earache and they said they were 'extremely confident' that this will happen.
