Hey guys, first post on this forum, I've decided to record a one-man-band EP just for fun more than anything, because I love this style of music (think Elitist, August Burns Red, Erra). So I've recorded a few songs and this is the first one to have a mix done on it. Its still very rough as I only just added effects and a mastering chain, so I would love to hear some thoughts on whatever you hear that could use a different approach/editing. Hope you can enjoy the song too. Cheers, Logan

Guitars are way too scooped and have too much mid-high end, and they're also too loud and bury everything else. I can't hear a bass guitar. The vocals are also too loud and very, very dry. The drums are pretty fake sounding and also pretty dry.

this any better?^^^ decided to retrack vocals in better condition with a better mic for now I'm focusing on the instrumental. I spent some more time editing based on your critiques.
