well, I have to give credit were credit is due.... They played a hell of a cup. but still we won and the experience and long term Quality did the Job.

Fuck football. Only time I care for football is the world cup and the UEFA euro cup and we didn't even qualify.

Did that really happen? I'm sure it wont have, not because I like England, but because it seems that would cause a HUGE uproar in these politically correct times.
 
I hadn't heard of anything like that happening... but that's not to say it didn't. I didn't create this thread to talk about the media, though I agree that ours over here in England is terrible.

i don't dare to do some predictions about Holland... the last matches before the last European Championships they played so bad...! that was when Marco van Basten ( you'll probably know him in here) was the coach... so i didn't think they would do very well.. but then they won by 3-0 of italy and 4-1 of france :lol:
but then Russia kicked Holland out of the league ... -.-' but this year Holland isn't a very hard groupe so i hope they will do it very well! :)
 
DAMN! yesterday we ( Holland) slaughtered Hungary with 6-1 ! but like in the 85th minute arjen robben got injured x[! hope he will still be playing at the world cup , we can't miss him, he's a part of the ''big four'' ( Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder, Robin van Persie, Rafael van der Vaart)
 
and i must admit that he can be really egoistic. but his speed is of great importance, and he has an amazing shot, he is capable to make the difference.

and no, not playing the macdonalds game,

and for the record, the commercial for that macdonalds game is great :p
 
Uhm, I suppose I have to support Greece but really, the past years we have been raping football, at least in 2004 we showed a lot of soul and got the Euro trophy, now it's just a nightmare to watch. And most of the team consists of Panathinaikos bitches anyway, so fuck that. I always liked Brazil (less and less though), Argentina and Germany.

Hate France and Italy.

I can't wait for the World Cup to start... I will be supporting Argentina and Holland and all the smaller teams. North Korea FTW!
