Worst snare tuning trick ever

Well, whatever floats his boat but seems way too convoluted and not very useful to me. Only good advice was to tune the reso head high imo. I always do that.
But I don't like the idea of having uneven tensions on the batter head at all and I am totally happy with using moongels when required.

I feel like leaving uneven lugs over a long period of time will warp something.
Also FOP parody

I was waiting for the snare to trigger when he was writing on the head  hilarious video

Seems like a great concept for a gigging drummer that needs to quickly change vibes, and even under the microphone it doesn't seem to present the problems I assumed it would... but I'll stick to conventional tuning methods.

Yeah Burny, I'm totally agree !
Regarding moongel's: I don't see why are that bad as he says, I just love them

I can confirm that! when I was starting out, I remember tuning drums like shit (I'm still learning but I feel more confident now).
After a year or two my brother's snare was a bit bent... I guess my fault... or maybe his :D who knows
