Wow - The Maidens are playing in my back yard!

Well....damn close...I live in Santee, and the bar they're playing in, is less than 2 miles from my house....AND...it's 2 days before my birthday! That's going to be sweet!

Swing by Blue Meanie and grab one of the flyers I left there or at the Music Trader and the head shop across from Food 4 Less.

True but a full house and a lot of drinks sold is gonna make them want them back real bad. Maybe even for a weekend show. A Thursday night isn't exactly a big concert night for people.

Once any Maiden fan sees the ladies perform I think they will look forward to another show.

I'm just trying to make sure to get a bunch in there for that first experience since this is a new venue for them.

BTW I stuffed the Iron Maiden section at all the Best Buys, Borders, and Sam Goody out there. I hit GC but not any tattoo places. PM Linda if you want some flyers to spread. I have maybe 100 left.

The bigger the crowd the more likely SW will ask them to come back soon. The Maidens will be at Canes Nov 4th.

Well if they do it I'll not cut it off this time. If the result is good enough to put up on youtube then it will have to get cut in half.

We know there are things that can happen and the resulting clip is ruined.

Hopefully I can get positioned like at Angels and Paladino's with no moshers. I really hope the sound isn't like Canes where Liz ended up inaudible.

Seems the best results for audio have been avoiding the house speakers.

The opening act in Santee's ad.....

Metal Brigade, I've never heard them, is opening for the Maidens in Santee. I think it is great they posted their own ad calling out their fans for support and included the fact they are opening for the ladies.

Hey Spidey and all others,

I'm Dan from Metal Brigade, and thanks for the kudos on the support! We always try to promote whoever we're playing with along with us whenever we do a show. We've been playing the local San Diego circuit (Brick by Brick, Dreamstreet, Canes, etc), bringing back what we feel is the best metal from the past three decades. We've been around for a little over a year in our current format, and we hope that everyone will enjoy what we put out there this Thursday coming up. We're also pushing the show on both our websites and Moshking.com.

We've been waiting for an opportunity to open for the Maidens for as long as we've been together. Personally, the Maidens are a big part of why I got back into playing drums after a 12 year hiatus. I stuffed the Maiden section at Tower by the sports arena last night.

Your band is the first SD one I have seen put up an ad promoting both yourselves and the Maidens so giving credit where it is due.
