Hey there, been more of a lurker here, forgive my one post here so far. References are S-O on sevenstring.org and shaunos90 for eBay.
I am in southern Ohio, between Dayton and Cincinnati. Miamisburg/West Carrolton/Centerville, so if you are within an hour of such places, I would be down for local pick up.
I am looking for a nice laptop, going of to school this fall, and need a laptop for recording in my dorm and on the go. Also double as homework helper, for writing papers and what not.
Looking for:
At least 4 gigs of ram, nice if it could be expanded to 8.
At least Intel core 2 duo, or equivalent AMD blah blah blah. 2 ghz would be the least I would consider.
At least 160 gigs of HDD, more is better. 7200 rpm preferred, 5400 is cool too though.
At least 2 USB 2.0 spaces.
A decent sized screen, like 15" and above.
Anything else is a plus, like HDMI, firewire, fancy graphics cards, etc.
Not looking to spend more than $1000, $5-600 is where I'd like to stay, a bit more for a better laptop is cool too.
