i dont know if this has happened at other shows but my ticket clearly says Bands start 7.30pm. NOT 7.00!!!

i bought my ticket for Bodom alone. and was really pissed off when i heard you guys playing from the que. when i finally got in which seemed to take fucking ages. i heard Downfall and thought shit, we've missed the whole set! we had!

i imagine this cock up was down to the venue (and not the band) but if tickets say 7.30 why not fuckin stick to it!!!
i felt sorry for people who got in to late and missed them completely. and the band because i doubt they were playing to hardly anyone.
 
That sounds reasonable. Well, i will let you know you were not the only one or the only country. In Finland the fucking doors opened ½ hour late and there was like 50 people watching Bodom (from standing area) when they started. Rest were queueing outside or in the queue where to leave your jackets. This was a major bummer! I only missed half of Hellhounds though...

And yeah the service was really shit...i felt like throwing a cup in the face of the woman selling drinks. She wouldn't sell me anything after i had queued for 15 minutes and the clock was like 22:59. She was liek "We're closed!" and i was like "BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Attention everyone attending the shows of the on-going European tour where COB are opening up for Slipknot and Machine Head! Bodom is the first band on the bill and enter the stage sometimes very early.
It is highly recommended to show up well in time because the band plays soon after the doors open. Remember to reserve time for queuing aswell!

I still feel sorry for you though and it's of course crazy to put 7:30 at the tickets while letting them play at 7:00. Maybe you should send a mail to the venue, I think that's the most you can do. I'm sure though that you'll get another chance to see them =)

I only missed hellhounds halfly so im not too fussed. Otherwise im seeing them as Headliner in March anyway. I was mostly there for Slipknot anyway.
 
I was actually suprised at this too. I saw them on Dec 1st and I wasn't at the front of the crowd, but the doors opened at 7pm, I got in by about 20 mins past and there was only 3 rows of people, since all the people in front of me where there for Slipknot, so when they got in, they all stood around the bar and getting shirts etc, but Bodom came on within like 10mins and I saw the whole set, BUT if I had gone to get something to eat before queuing up at the venue AND put my jacket away in the cloakroom, I would have missed them completely, and like you, I only went for Bodom, so I would have been PISSED.

I read about this on cobhc.com too, where they started and the room was only getting full during HCDR, which was the second to last song because the venue let everyone in too late. It's bullshit.

I got in around 7:25 and only saw HCDR/Downfall. Fucking annoying.

At least Machine Head were awesome.
