MetalHead87's got a point as well. I don't want to use too many broad strokes when painting a picture of the US. I was mainly speaking about it overall, but of course there are plenty of people who are absolutely content just the way it is, and that's good for them. I dare say, however, that these people are in the minority.

I do agree that whoever said they want to move to Norway is disillusioned, Ryan I believe. Norway kind of sucks. If you've ever been there, it's sickeningly similar to America in some ways. The language might be pretty, but most of the people there are dicks. It's not a "metal country". I got the impression that metal there is very underground, just like anywhere else, and that whoever is trying to make it with metal was really just an outcast. Don't just say, "Fuck USA, I'm moving to THAT country!" That doesn't work. You need to go there first. In fact, even if you're moving around in the States, you should go to you prospective move state first.

Sweden is better than Norway in my opinion...they're not as rich (which roughly translates into them not being as big of pricks). The weather is still terrible though. Whoever thinks "grim" weather is nice or in some way intriguing, it is...for about a day. I agree with the relationship between gray weather and depression.

I never noticed you were from Richmond...a very good friend of mine here comes from there as well. He hates it. He said the illegal gun problem is the worst in the country.
