It's been a long time since i realised Mick's site was more often updated and contained more stuff.
When i want to check something about Antimatter I always go on his site first.
But i don't think calling his site official would change anything. And if Mega's site can still be updated regularly with news from the band, cant there be two official sites ?

because there are people that aren't antimatter maniacs as we probably are. they just want to learn sth about the band. i think mick's site will help them get into antimatter much more... will be much more helpful.

However, he should get a shorter URL..

Yes but my site is the Unofficial Official one, which means you dont have to wear your best clothes to visit it.

But Sopel yeah I know what you're saying - if someone who doesnt know about my site searches on the net he will undoubtedly see the word 'official' on the warp9 one and visit there and see that we havent had any news for 6 months which is untrue.

yeah but maybe people will compare both pages, and think the news on yours are wrong, cause theyre not official. they'll think its just rumors.

then it would be the best to either make Mick's site the official or simplydeclare on the start site that this is a site run by Mick Moss!

imo it would be more logical to give Mick the "official" sign, but i also understand it if they would leave it to Mega, when they say that he has done so many for the band!

Still, i will visit mick's page cause it's more up to date.

We have been discussing about the future of my site and it's role and yes it is going to change but not disappear. In my opinion there is no use to have two sites for the same band with identical content but with different layout/user interface. It is most likely that my site will be redesigned in near future and targeted mostly for media people and not so much for the fans. This means that the contents will change and be different from Mick's site and I think this is the best solution for this slight confusing situation we are now having.

True but if you would just send me those pieces of news. I mean I don't think it is my job to dig them up from your site and add them to mine. But like I said the role of my site will probaböy change in the future quite a bit and this will clear up things for sure.

nice, so from now ill be visiting megas page cause media people are cooler than normal people and fans. you normal people can go and visit the unofficial normal site, ill visit the official media one

Sure it is easier to remember but I am not willing to pay for the domain registration and there aren't really that many free domain names available. http://warp.9.to/antimatter is much easier to remember than http://www.blackmetal.com/~mega/antimatter/ and it is also more fitting as well. And besides why bother remembering URLs as there is such things as bookmarks in every browser.
