XTL Ryth Tone Test, howz it sound?

Hi Guys,

I've just been experimenting with some new ryth tones with da POD, and finally have something I'm marginally happy with. I'd just like to see what ya'll think of it

I tried writing the clip to sound something like metallica, but in the end it sounds more like Megadeth to me than anything else, lol. Anyway, the link is below:

Sounds great IMHO !
I would like some more bass but most probably it's because i'm listening on a pair of shitty 10$ headphones.

Ah, me and bass have a love and hate relationship at the moment. I either end up cranking in way too much, or on ocassions not enough. I'm still trying to find the happy medium.

Umm, the kick was two samples blended together, triggered through Reason 3, where I additionally ran it through an EQ, and a small amount of room reverb.

When I bounced it down to Sonar 4, I added a little bit of MaxBass to it, with the intention of giving it some more punch. I think that's about it.

The guitars were Quadtracked. Two L + R 100%, and Two L + R 85%.
