That's so fucking awesome. The free updates are SO killer with this thing. Last time he added a TZF Flanger too which is a really sweet sounding effect. Can't wait for the new ampz!!!

I'll be updating the bastard tomorrow. Apparently he remade the poweramp section and made it smoother in the high end. This could be the one update I've been waiting for. Damn I'm excited!

so owners of these....do axe fx have the ability to change channels on other amps? I recently found out how much of a tax return I am getting and I could splurge on one of these instead of a gt pro, but I want to have something I can 4 cable method and switch amp channels and fx patches with one press of a button.

That's pretty wild! I love having the FEEL of my amps on stage. The power, etc. More power to them for being able to play like that though!

If you can get used to having the amp lying in front of you (like a wedge) then the axeFX is awesome, and the crowd will appreciate the guitar sound more, since the bleed from the stage will be a lot less = better definition in the PA. When I've done FOH I've always battled with the damn 4x12's blasting out 1000Hz in 95db. Those are the times I wished that everyone would use an AxeFX and IEMs.

I might actually dig it, but it would take some getting used to!

For the record, the SPL Transducer is only a speaker/mic simulation unit. It does not do the amp sound as well. I have looked into them many times since I first heard about them a year ago, honestly I really want one, but the price is pretty high haha. I also want an axefx to try myself, I trust Jeff's word on things, but I think I will let it go past the 15-day mark because I could always sell it for a very small loss, being near mint. I would rather do that than have to stress in 15 days to tweak something with so many options.
