Decided to work on a cover in the pop punk genre. I've only been tracking,mixing and editing this for about an hour. Tracked through the chorus. Tell me what you think.
I know the bass is pretty lame right now when it's solo'd but trillion will fix that
Also the bass drum seems to be getting buried during the chorus.

By the way, the song is called "For you and your denial"

The mix seems pretty good. the crash panned to the left seems to stick out a bit. so maybe either not making the panning so wide, or turn that volume down . No need to comment on the bass because you've already stated the problem

pretty cool. idk about that bass sound... sounds good in the heavier arrangements, but by itself, it's kinda obvious that it's a VI. if you have a bass, i'd say use that. i'll bet it would sound better. damn good job for an hrs work though
