Okay, well I can growl and it sounds really similar to Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, and Vital Remains vocals, but I want to sound different... like... higher in pitch. I don't want my voice that deep. I've really just started growling/screaming, so I don't really know much. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS

sigh...holy crap man, how many of these do we need? I guess you can start by telling us how you do it. Loud or room level? Gut or throat?

I use my gut and I do it a room level. Although I can do it loud.

For high screams it's generally easier to do loud. Just move your throat like you would if you were going up an octave singing- or like if you were to go falsetto. You can do lower screams with your throat that way as well- kinda at the gates style. Can't really speak on doing highs quiet as the best thing I can do in the regard is try make different shapes with my mouth to change the way it's being amplified. Hope that helps some.

i Suggest drinking Rum, then trying it loud and high. It will coat your throat nicely.
