Malmsteen hasnt written an original song since Odyssey....

All his shit is just Bach played on a distorted strat. No dimension no vision. He is shit, has been since 87. Thousands of players have taken what he did to the next level, and besides he wasnt the first to do any of that exotic scale shit. Dimeola was Malmsteen before Malmsteen

Have just listened to the new album (well kind of browsed through anyway) and although there are some decent song ideas hidden there I must agree with you all...what happened with production?
Also I am not a fan of Rippers vocals on it. He has a great voice, but I don´t think it suits YM style of music.

My wish to santa is: Get Jeff Scott Soto on vocals, get a producer for Yngwie

It was great in my opinion. Though it also prominently featured guitars on one side...which doesn't really bother me.
