Is it just me, or did Warrel do better live vocals back when he was still drinking? I mean sure he does a great job, but I noticed fewer fuck ups when I see live performances like around 99 or 2000.
 
I dunno, this one time I saw nevermore pre-warrel giving up drinking, he fucked up like every song. He was pretty much pathetically wasted. Then I saw them again later on the (2nd) Opeth tour (post-warrel giving up drinking), and not only was he spot on, he sounded fantastic even though he was sick.
 
Hmm... perhaps I just missed the shows where he is wasted and fucks up. It's just that the older performances I see, it appears he does better...

I mean look at some of the live videos of Born on youtube, they are new, but the vocals are horribly skewed...

Eh nevermind...
