I like Joey and all, but I really was not impressed with Alive 2. I was even there - being there was great - but the DVD didn't sizzle my bacon. Joey's high's were not on. And I thought it was really lame how Spitz left the stage, then they dubbed in his whole solo. Why didn't they just add a different song to the DVD? I would have rather have seen the whole band on "Metal thrashing Mad" or "Antisocial" then not seeing Spitz at all (untill the last verse) on "AIR" I know it is common for a band to go back and dub in guitars on a live record - this is nothing new - but to dub in an entire lead? All the while you don't even see the guitarist because he is not on the stage? Kinda lame.
 
I thought Joey sounded great on the DVD. His voice has a richer quality to it now than it did in the 80s, but I'm biased because I've always been a huge fan. On another note, I listen to SOWN today for the first time in ages and forgot how great it was. So even though I'm a Joey fan, John Bush gets major props for bringing some deep soul singing to the mix. I always thought he and Joey could make a great album together of old classics.
 
It's not that Joey did not sound good - for the most part he did. But a lot of his highs were off. That is fact not opinion. He was going flat on a lot of his notes. It was still an awesome show though, glad I could be there. I like Bush too, I wish they could all just rock together. Yet if that day ever comes, there will still be the people that don't like it.

How good would it be if this forum software could be set up to automatically close threads that use a sentance such as "Bring back Bush" or "Joey sucks, we want John" blah blah ......

As aliasp said "This is a pro-Anthrax board !!!!"........

Haha... :lol: I actually had a "kinda funny" pic of Bush but I couldn't get it to post from My Documents.... must be doing something wrong. Oh well.
(when you posted you probably saw the little red X from the other pic )
