You can't beat Mario or Sonic. Just so fun and addictive, largely because of the simplicity of them. Gaming has been ruined because they have tried to get too advanced, which has taken away that fun and addiction.

I beat Mario twice last week, seeing as its one of the 3 games I have with me here at work.

Sonic 2 I beat many times as well when I was a kid.

Game programmers are missing the point. They're trying to make games too challenging and advanced. If you want a challenge then take up chess and if you want realism then observe trouble around the Manchester area.
