I like the cheap Wutan chinas. I think we had an 18" in the studio the other week that sounded amazing.

I agree, They cut through and dont decay for 2 days.

the orientals are amazing, however, weirdly enough, one of my favs ever were the old Pro Sonix Sabian ones, lovely sound but didnt last too long!

Yeah I have an old Sabian Pro Sonix 18" China that's beat to shit and sounds amazingly trashy.

its all about the zildjian oriental trash. 18" for breakdown/crashing, 12" for accent/effects.

+1, I totally agree this is basically the set up i have on my kit, and its works very well
