im a big fan of that cheesy 80s death/thrash metal hand painted album cover style actually. death - spiritual healing + leprosy, sepultura - arise and cadaver - in pains are some of my favorites :X

Dan Seagrave and Andreas Marschall are probably my two favorite album cover artists. Kris Verwimp does some damn fine work as well. (Edit: see PanzerKunt's post).

That's a Necrolord cover, correct? I think he's generally better at logos than album covers.

I thought that Soulfly art was photomanipulation. Hmm....are you sure it's hand drawn? (Not arguing, but it definitely looks like a manip with the symmetry and all)

Pretty much all the Iced Earth's and Iron Maiden's for me. Glorious Burden is a masterpiece of art...looks like something you'd see in an art museum.

lol - yeah, I noticed that, but...

Ahh...yeah. I was about to say that it was close enough...but even looking at all the intricate details - it's still different on each side.

That's crazy skills for sure. Any drawing that LOOKS like a manip is just sick.
