After three full listens the most memorable moments are, in order of preference:

1. As Torches Rise
2. The Land Of Hope And Glory
3. Midnight Sunrise
4. Battle Metal
5. One More
6. Sahti-Waari
7. Katuman Kaiku

These are the ones I remember clearly. I haven't found time to really concentrate on the record. Overall the album sounds good, and it's surprisingly even. The list above could almost be turned upside down and I'd still stand behind it...

The first impressions suggest that it's definitely a strong album and one of the best debut albums I've ever heard. But it's no Varangian Way for me, and I'm pretty positive it will never grow to be.

I'll have to say One More. It was the song that first got me into Turisas. Ah, I remember it well... It was a hot, summer night, it was... Ok, so it probably wasn't. And I don't remember the first listen all that well. But I do remember I adored the song then, and I adore it now. So much so, I'm having it played at my funeral.
Not that I've planned it or anything.
