I'M SICK OF ALL THIS METALLICA SHIT..SO LET'S DO SOEMTHING DIFFERENT AND START A TESTAMENT THREAD ON THE TESTAMENT BOARD! o_O

DIRT'S FIRST TESTAMENT SHOW:

MY FRIEND GOT ME INTO TESTAMENT IN 1990. BUT MY FIRST SHOW WAS NOT UNTIL 1994.

I WAS A T THE GYM AND HEARD AN AD FOR A BENEFIT SHOW WITH "TESTAMENT". SO I HAD TO GO. I WAS LIVING IN MONTEREY WORKING AT A RADIO STATION.

IT WAS AT "CHEERS" IN SUNNYVALE CALIFORNIA. IT WAS AFTER "LOW" HAD JUST GOTTEN RELEASED. MURPHY WAS ON GUITAR THEN.

THE STAGE WAS SMALL..AND TESTAMENT LITERALLY PLAYED TWO FEET IN FRONT OF YOU. NO WALL TO CLIMB..JUST A WHITE LINE MARKED ON THE FLOOR.

WE MET CHUCK AND JAMES AFTER THE SHOW AND GOT A COPY OF "PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH" INLAY SIGNED.

I WAS HOOKED AFTER THAT!

IT WAS MY FIRST AND FAVORTIE TESTAMENT SHOW!

The Bay Area Thrash Festival, March 19th. I waited through shitty-ass Social Evil, amusing but pointless Impaled, incomprehensible Cattle Decapitation, and formulaic Exhumed for the real show to start. Vio-lence wasn't that great, but the insane crowd more than made up for it. Death Angel was fucking brilliant. And then, Testament took the stage...

Some technical difficulties preceded the set, but soon enough the band walked on in the smoke. Chuck raised the mike and snarled "GOD...SEND...ME...DEEAAATH!!" And it was ON, motherfucker.

Short but brutal set - highlights were DNR, Low, Over the Wall, and Disciples. Into the Pit was also memorable for the sheer asskicking I took in the pit...I was so sore the next morning. Didn't notice at the time though. Amazing performance, psychotic crowd. Stevie is an evil looking bastard. Can't wait for June 4th to see them again.

It was the Omni in Oakland CA. lineup was Testament, Vio-lence,Forbidden.It was the New Order cycle. HEY THIS IS WHAT THE PEOPLE SAY! and I was hooked after hearing that.

Stefan, we played Stockholm ( and 3 other cities in Sweden) on the Riding the Snake tour in 2000! and rest assured, we'll be back again! I Love Stockholm, it's a killer city!!!

My very first Testament show was on 11-27-92 (still have the ticket stub) @ the Hollywood Palladium. Infamous show, this was the show where they recorded the live album "Return to the Apocalyptic City". I was in the very front against the guard gate on Glen Alvelais side. First time seeing Testament and DRI. Aside from it being an amazing show that got me hooked on going to Testament shows, it was one of the most memorable concerts I've been too. Main reason is since I was right in front of Glen, I was also directly next to the house PA speakers! I lost hearing in my left ear for almost 7 days and even had to go to the Dr for a hearing test to make sure I wasn't permanently deaf in my left ear!!!!!!!! Now if that isn't METAL I don't know what is !!

Saw Testament open up for Anthrax in 1987 on the "Among The Living"/"Legacy" tour at the Apollo in Manchester, England. Great show.

My first gig was at the Dynamo festival in Holland 2000.. killer show!

The next one was at the No Mercy fest in Tilburg, Holland 2003... the last gig of the tour.. absolutely a killer!!
With all the people on stage..god I will never forget that day, so much energy...

Waiting to see them live again!

July 6th 1988, Providence, Rhode Island at The Living Room (RIP) It was the very first night of The New Order US tour (well it was the first night VIOLENCE was on the bill, not sure if it was the 1st night for that tour for Testament, but it was definetly the first night of Violence's
Eternal Nightmare tour because I got the schedule.
Both bands kicked ass, especially VIOLENCE, man no one could tear up a place like those fuckers!

On the Practice What You Preach tour with Annihilator and Wrathchild America. Kick ass show!! I've seen them every time they've come through Atlanta since that first show I saw.

same here - i've only seen them once and that was last month in april, in The Astoria in London, UK.

and me being only 16, was actually my first major metal gig - and it was fucking awesome!! :D:D:D

And it was so fucking amazing to see both testament and angel of death in one night!!
dude! i was soooooo chuffed about that! :D

The Headbangers Ball Tour...I think it was 1989...with Helloween and Anthrax!!
